Being healthy and happy is important. One of the main components to living a healthy lifestyle is the food you eat. I am always searching for new and easy food/snack ideas that are packed with nutrients. Enter chia seeds. I had heard all about these wonderful seeds that satisfy your hunger, while making you feel full longer. Chia seeds are filled with some amazing nutrients such as, fiber, protein, antioxidants and Omega-3 fatty acids. I’ve always enjoyed chia pets, so I figured why not try to make chia seed pudding. Below are two recipes for delicious chia seed pudding that will have you rethinking your pudding game.
Vanilla + Blueberry Chia Seed Pudding
You’ll want to mix all of these ingredients together in a cup of bowl. After mixing, put it in the refrigerator for 2-3 hours. Stir occasionally.
Chocolate + Strawberry Chia Seed Pudding
Again, mix all of the ingredients together. Stirring the cocoa powder may take a little longer for it to settle. Place in the refrigerator for 2-3 hours and stir occasionally. Using coconut milk made this chia seed pudding a little thicker than using almond milk.
After sitting in the fridge your chia seed pudding is ready! It’s perfect for an on-the-go breakfast in the morning, or a quick pick-me-up during work. Or even an excellent alternative for when your sweet tooth is calling.
